How does Cold-to-Cooked generate recipes?

Take or upload a photo of your fridge (or enter ingredients manually), and our AI analyzes what you have. It then generates personalized recipes based on those exact ingredients, along with cooking time, difficulty, and nutritional info.

How many free scans do I get?

Free users get 3 fridge scans per day. Upgrading to Premium gives you unlimited scans every day, plus access to the Health Tracker, Meal Planner, and more.

How do I cancel or manage my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store. To cancel:

  • Open the Settings app on your iPhone
  • Tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions
  • Find Cold-to-Cooked and tap Cancel Subscription

You'll retain Premium access until the end of the current billing period.

How do I restore my purchases on a new device?

Open the app and go to the Premium screen. Tap Restore Purchases at the bottom. Make sure you're signed in to the same Apple ID used when you originally subscribed.

Why isn't the Health Tracker showing my data?

The Health Tracker is a Premium feature. If you've upgraded and still don't see your data, try these steps:

  • Pull down to refresh on the Health tab
  • Make sure you have an active internet connection
  • Force-quit and reopen the app

Can I log meals I didn't generate with the app?

Yes. On the Health tab, tap Log Food to manually enter any meal with its calories and protein. You can also tap Scan Barcode to look up packaged foods instantly.

Does Cold-to-Cooked sync with Apple Health?

Yes. When you log a meal or water intake, Cold-to-Cooked can write calorie, protein, and water data directly to Apple Health. You'll be prompted to grant permission the first time you use the Health Tracker on a real device.

The recipe I generated doesn't look right. What should I do?

AI-generated recipes can occasionally miss the mark. Try tapping Regenerate on the results screen to get a fresh set. If you continue seeing bad results for certain ingredients, let us know at support@coldtocooked.com — your feedback helps us improve.
